Do you JW's believe that during the 1000 yr reign that all the dead will JW

i was wondering especially from some of the old timers out there jw's or ex-jw's that really understand the jw's concept of the reserrected dead during the 1000 reign of jesus christ.

do they believe that the people brought back from the dead will have to convert to jw's in order to live on for eternity?

i know this sounds like a stupid question but i was talking to a jw's elder the other day and he told me that people like my grandmother who was a "devout born-again baptist" would have to study and become a jw's in the 1000 year reign before she could enter into paradise.

If such a time should come, worry about how to be among those people that have the favor of God. The rest will be up to Him to establish.

How precisely will god save the JWs at armageddon?

have you ever wondered, based upon the artists conception below, how it is jehovah will supposedly "save" the witnesses during his "great day of vengeance(tm)".

i mean, will he transport all 6 million of them into waiting cruise ships while he is throwing fireballs onto the earth?

how will all the dubs avoid falling into those giant crevasses as he starts the continental earthquakes?

There's no answer to this question. If there will be an armageddon, let's worry about obtaining God's favor, and then worry about the rest when the time comes.

Homosexuality at Bethel

whilst at london bethel, i witnessed this first hand.

i know that it went on there.

those from brooklyn bethel (i understand that there are a few ex brooklyn bethelites here), the question i have for you is 'did you witness/hear of any over your side of the pond?

Either homisexuality is practiced in Brooklyn/Patterson Bethel, or there are just far too many effeminate guys over there! Of this I'm certain.

i love canada, but i would rather a warmer climate.. to me australia would also be a nice place to live, large country, english, and warmer than here.. i'd love to live in the us too.

Being raised a witness has it's benefits...

i actually have several reasons why i don't resent my witness upbringing, but it sure came in handy today.. last year i posted about helping 50 kids run in the seattle kids marathon at my daughter's school.

the event was a blast and while it was a ton of work, seeing the joy on the kids' faces when they crossed the finish line made it all worth it.. this morning i spoke to the entire student body at my daughter's school at their monthly spirit assembly.

if i hadn't been raised a witness, giving talks from the time i was five, i never would have attempted such a thing.

I get your point and agree with you.

Also, having been brought up as a JW taught me to dress nicely for different occasions, to be disciplined, respectful of my elders, courteous, have courage in the face of opposition, avoid smoking and drugs, learned to read/write/speak Spanish perfectly by the mere fact of having attended so many meetings/assemblies/events with the Spanish crowd, etc.

Yes, there are many, many benefits to have been brought up a JW, although I'm not a very good 'practicing' one.

It's not ALL bad.
